Why use Box n Go’s moving service instead of a traditional moving company?

Three reasons: it's affordable, convenient and secure. Not only will you save on the price of a traditional move, but your items are completely safe and secure inside your Box n Go moving Room. Unlike traditional movers that combine multiple households into one moving truck, your items are self contained in your locked moving Room with no chance of items getting lost during transit.

Is Box n Go's moving service more expensive than a traditional moving company?

No! Our daily rental fee includes the rental of the Box n Go moving Room, initial delivery, pick-up, delivery to your new location, and empty pick-up returning to Box n Go. When you factor in the costs of truck or trailer rental, fuel, and your own valuable time (with the possibility of multiple trips to your new destination), Box n Go moving is not only more economical but also easier, more convenient, less stressful, and time-flexible.

How do I know how many Box n Go Rooms I need?

Each Box n Go Room is 1.525m (w) x 2.4m (l) x 2.15m (h) and will hold up to 1 ½ rooms of furniture & belongings (about 7 cubic metres), or 40 to 50 assorted sized cartons. Please give us a call at 1300 Box n Go (1300 269 646) and our experts will help determine the right number.

What’s the delivery process like?

Your moving Rooms arrive on a flatbed truck. Our skilled driver then uses a forklift to unload the Rooms and place them in the most convenient location for you to load. When ready, we return to pick-up and deliver your moving Room to your new location. Take whatever time you need to unload, let us know when the moving Room is empty and we’ll pick-up returning to Box n Go.

How much does the Box n Go moving cost?

Making a reservation is absolutely free. You’ll be charged for only for the rental of the Box n Go, from day of delivery up to and including the day we receive the empty Box n Go back to our facility. Initial delivery to you, transportation of the Box n Go to your new location and pick-up of the empty Room is included in the rental. The first month rental will be in advance on confirmation of your booking. If your move takes longer than one-month, you will be charged again on the anniversary date of the initial delivery of your Box n Go Room.

How do I pay?

Box n Go is all about convenience and that goes for customers making payment. Most customers elect to use Visa or MasterCard.

Are charges the same for business and residential users?

Yes.

In which areas does Box n Go operate?

Box n Go’s operational area is bounded by Caboluture in the South, Noosa in the North and Maleny to the West. Please go to our Service Area to check that we operate in your post code area.

Will my large household items fit in a Box n Go?

Yes! The Box n Go moving Room is large enough for sofas, refrigerators, entertainment centers, washers, dryers, freezers, dressers, beds and most all other household items. Each Room will hold up to 1 tonne and is designed for easy loading.

Where will you put the Box n Go when you deliver it?

Anywhere a car can go, a Box n Go Room can go! It is rare that we have any difficulty placing the Rooms in a convenient spot for loading. Two Box n Go Rooms can be placed in a standard parking space. Our system allows us to operate in limited access areas. If you have a unique situation that is a concern please call us at 1300-Box n Go.

How do I access my Box n Go to pack it?

The Box n Go floor is about 100mm off ground level so there are no narrow, awkward loading ramps to wrestle with.

How much time do I have to pack or unpack my Box n Go?

Please enjoy the incredible convenience of Box n Go and load at your leisure. NO NEED TO RUSH! To help ease the stress of moving we can leave your Box n Go Room at your location for as long as you need to load or unload. While on your property, the Rooms have a weatherproof Tarpol cover to keep out moisture and ensure the safety of your goods.

How do I pack the Rooms to keep the contents from shifting?

You simply pack your moving Room in the same manner that you would pack a moving truck -- avoiding empty space and protecting furniture and fragile items with moving blankets, bubble wrap and moving boxes.

Can I store my moving Room and then have you deliver it to my new location?

Yes. You can store your Box n Go on your site or at our storage center. One day or indefinitely, our enclosed, secure, clean facilities provide double protection from the elements.

How can I make sure I get my delivery on the date I need?

Box n Go is able to offer affordable moving solutions because we are efficient in our delivery schedule. Please, place your order as soon as possible in order to secure your desired date. Some days fill up quickly. Our friendly Customer Service Consultants will do their best to satisfy your request.

Can I access my Box n Go Rooms while they are being stored?

Absolutely! Just give us a call during our business hours. We will have your Box n Go ready and waiting for you. Alternatively, for a reasonable fee we will re-deliver during your storage term, returning your storage Room back to your home or office, and then return to pick it up when you’re ready.

Can I get insurance for my belongings?

For security reasons we do not ask for a description of the goods and belongings secured inside your Room. Under the agreement, you agree to obtain insurance coverage for the complete value of the goods stored by you in your Rooms. You will personally assume all risk of loss, including damage or theft of your goods due to burglary, mysterious disappearance, fire, water, rodent damage, earthquakes, acts of God, vandalism, mould or mildew or other vermin. All Box n Go services are provided to you at your sole risk and responsibility.

How do I secure my Room?

When you’ve finished packing, just lock your Room. We supply padlocks or you can provide your own. Either way, you’ll be the only one with access to the key, as you are the only key holder.

Are there items I cannot pack in a Box n Go Room?

Yes. These include perishables, flammables, liquids, hazardous materials, weapons, illegal substances, explosive devices. Example: When storing lawn equipment drain all petrol and oils before storing.

What are the Box n Go business operational hours?

Our opening and operational hours are:

  • Monday to Friday :                  8am - 5 pm

  • Saturday and Sunday:            9am-4pm 

  • Closed on public holidays (unless prior arrangements / bookings made).

What else might I need that I have not thought of?

You will must lock your Room prior to pick-up. Each moving Room can be secured with up to two locks. How about packing supplies - boxes, tape, bubble wrap? We have them all and will deliver them with your Box n Go Room.
