Delivery requirements

Placement of the Rooms:

Box n Go will deliver the Rooms for packing by you to the Delivery Address listed in Item 4 of the Schedule and will deliver the packed Room for storage at the Storage Facility or if moving to the Final Delivery Address listed in Item 6 of the Schedule.

You acknowledge that Box n Go will normally place the Rooms on a driveway or other paved surface immediately accessible from a street fronting your premises. Such placement area shall have adequate width, depth, and height clearance to sustain the weight and size of the delivery fork lift and Room.

You authorise Box n Go to:

• drive on your lawn or other non-paved area in order to place the Rooms in the area designated by you or manoeuvre to place the Rooms in an area of adequate clearance; or

• drive on a paved surface.

You assume full risk for all damage resulting from the placement of the Rooms and relieve Box n Go from any responsibility for such damage.

You acknowledge that Box n Go recommends against driving on your lawn or non-paved, and certain paved areas.

Once placed please do not relocate the Rooms:

You agree that you will not yourself relocate the Rooms from the locations listed in Items 4 and 6 of the Schedule. In the event that it is determined by Box n Go that the Rooms have been relocated, you agree to pay an additional fee of not less than $150.00 and up to current retail value of the Rooms plus any cost or shipping associated with the retrieval of the Rooms by Box n Go.

 Security

For your security and peace of mind we provide you with a unique Access Code or PIN. Only you or a person nominated by you may access or give instructions for the re-delivery of your Room. At the storage facility, a valid photo ID and your Access Code are required. And we will only act to re-deliver your Room on a valid Access Code.

In order to access your Rooms you or your nominated person will require your keys to the padlocks securing your Rooms. 

You must not disclose your Access Code to any person other than your nominated person or us.  If you disclose your access code to a nominated person, you will ensure that your nominated person will not disclose your access code to any other person at any time other than us. You accept sole responsibility for all loss or damage that results, directly or indirectly, from any unauthorised use of your Access Code.  If you believe that a person may know or may use or has used your Access Code in a manner not authorised by you, you should notify us immediately and we will assign to you a new Access Code.  

Insurance

All goods stored by you are at your sole risk and responsibility. Insurance is your sole responsibility. You may either obtain insurance over the goods stored in your Rooms from the insurance company of your choice or you may choose to be “self insured”. You agree to obtain insurance coverage for the complete value of the goods stored by you in your Rooms. You will personally assume all risk of loss, including damage or theft of your goods due to burglary, mysterious disappearance, fire, water, rodent damage, earthquakes, acts of God, vandalism, mould or mildew or other vermin.

All the Services are provided to you at your sole risk and responsibility.  We will not be liable to you for:

• any damage or loss suffered by you which is caused by any act or omission of any other person or entity;
• any damage caused to any goods which you have packed in a Room, where you have not complied with these terms and conditions  (including where you have not safely and securely packed those goods into a Room); or
• any indirect, consequential, special or economic loss suffered by you if we are in breach of our obligations set out in these terms and conditions.
